I heard the term "TABs" for the first time, in an accessibility context. TAB stands for "Temporarily Able-Bodied", and is a term that puts a focus on the fact that having a disability or being able-bodied is not an essential trait, it's where you are in life.
Of course, some people may be able-bodied their whole life, and you should build universally useful things not because you might personally benefit but because it's the right thing to do. But I think the term is an interesting twist on things, that might help people put things in perspective.
