What if we just say: we cannot yet afford #AI?

What we cannot afford:
Free #statetaxes for new #data centres
Free #localtaxes when counties follow state lead
Not enough #water
Cannot give up #primefarmland or a/b soils to datacentres, distribution centers and #solar
Cannot afford 5x power usage that #ai will use
Cannot afford AI #disinformation

Fossil fuel-burning plants, whether that's natural gas, coal, or oil, produce even less.
