     What Lee says here is of course completely correct, and this is what occurred because white men were willing to accept their share of responsibility, and then a little more .. and then it because a source of political power to let people dump their responsibility for problems on white men.
     
     That then transformed into "white men are the SOURCE of these problems" now vilified, it has ossified into the core of the party.
