     @sickburnbro Who do they think your "neighbor" is? Also, a "stranger" here and there is one thing, but Jesus did not advocate you allowing your own people to be genocided. God punished the Israelites by having foreigners flood their countries and imposing extra-national rulers over them, it was not a good thing. Deuteronomy even says specifically to not allow foreigners to rule over you.

     I've been rereading the new testament. There was a verse I came across that basically meant you must care for your kin first. Our kith and kin are suffering. Missionaries galavanting about to find OTHER neighbors to support is inherently anti-Christian.
