A whole bunch of you folks responded to marginalized people in desperate need soliciting on a hashtag with:
- they're scammers
- they're foreign agents
- this trauma porn slop
- do you like Drumpf
- Vote for my candidate to make everything better (a thing that is not happening no matter who wins.)
People are rightfully pointing out that you're nimby freaks.

What you did instead is displayed your whole ass, exemplified your privilege, and made up a bunch of conspiracy theories as if state level government actors are trying to keep you from giving the Harris campaign a fiver on the Fedi.
You are now (rightfully) being criticized for that behavior because it is, in as few words as possible - "gross and batshit unhinged."

I actually got mad when they suggested a vote for Harris will bring an end to destitution.
Just cos you wish she would doesn't make it so.
Ds have had senate+congress+president several times over the past 50 years and they never, ever came close to implementing UBI.
Even M4A is too far for them.

Unrelated, but these are also the folks trying to defend their beloved hellworld media when accused of being fascist as fuck by explaining it's the people using 'em and not money or their fascist algorithms. Look, I hate that in this timeline we're literally looking at people's last hopes being publically aired before *very bad thing* happens. Some of it's more or less serious than other things of it, and it's depressing. Nobody who's a billionare is reading this, so nobody CAN afford to fix it all (yes, one billionare could do every aid request for years trivially and never notice).
If someone's that bothered, it's never been so easy to filter, or mute. ugh.
