seems like all anyone wants to talk about is le overclocking but I don't give a shit about that-

d (deprecated_ii@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 26-Jul-2024 21:58:01 JST d @RustyCrab usually when people want to undervolt they're trying to improve overall performance, because running at lower voltages reduces heat generation so it delays or avoids throttling while maintaining the same momentary performance. so, on average they get better performance that way
not a lot of discussion of running a CPU low and slow for better battery lifeBowserNoodle ☦️ likes this. -

Rusty Crab (rustycrab@clubcyberia.co)'s status on Friday, 26-Jul-2024 21:58:02 JST Rusty Crab @deprecated_ii isn't that effectively undervolting?
Also turns out 13th/14th gen are shitting themselves left and right due to manufacturing defects and giving themselves heat stroke, so that's a good idea anyway -

It worked for other stuffmanufacturers cards ofc and you could pick max and min stuff within a pretty big range. -

Same for videocard. Haven't found much information on how to underclock the videocard RAM because that stuff gets freaking hot
