I would really hate if people's takeaway from this is going to be "antitrust pro consumer regulations are bad akshully" because the absolute last thing we need is for Microsoft to get even more dominance over their DRM As A Platform

1) you cannot do anything in windows without kernel access because windows is a piece of shit
2) this has always been the case, antivirus isn't new
3) neither is it new that it can cause the entirety of Windows to shit the bed, because they don't do the basic fucking check whether something is loadable before doing so 😭
