KrissyKatAn artist got tired of missing his exit for I-5 on the 101 highway in LA, so he made a directional sign to government standards, snuck up on a highway gantry, and installed it while a nearby CalTrans crew was working.
This done in August 2001. The sign stayed in place for 8 years until CalTrans replaced it with a new one.
