     @killyourfm @tamitha The Ally series are basically asus laptops, same acpi, same bios. Just smaller - all of the asus-wmi work I've done also works on them (I am maintainer of asus drivers).

     I'd go as far as saying if you want fairly decent linux laptop with power, get asus rog series.

     @fluke @tamitha Well, you are a miracle worker and we all appreciate your efforts! Even 4 or 5 years ago, that kind of recommendation would have sounded crazy...
