     they need him so hard to not have been close to assassinated they are willing to make up absolute dumb shit like this and say it out loud.
     
     The chance of him being hit by a piece of shrapnel just doesn't make much mathematical sense, because the angle something would be need to hit in order to generate an energetic enough piece to do that doesn't work.

     At this point I'm surprised that 1/3 of democrats don't believe that Russians hacked all of the cameras pointed at the stage and what we thought was blood was actually just ketchup.
