   I think I'm probably vastly over-paying for my mobile phone contract at the moment: about £80/month for 2 phones, SIM only, with Vodafone.

   But happily my contract expires next week.

   What's the going rate these days for a SIM-only contract if you don't need to have huge amounts of mobile data (which I don't)?

   And which is a good company to switch to if Vodafone won't give me a good price?

     @green_bens Not much. My current plan includes 150 GB/month, but I don't use anything like that amount. Often it's less than 1 GB. Even in a busy month it's rarely more than 2 or 3.

     Unlimited mins/sms + 3GB - Tesco £7.50/m (uses O2)
     But - domestic use only. Even texts to EU numbers get charged. And MMS gets charged too.

     Judging by your posts about travelling etc, you'll need a bit more sophisticated tariff
