     @kaia@brotka.st i'm not particularly knowledgeable about him, from what i've read he's just a Wall Street asshole that's cultivated this guru persona as 'the good billionaire', when Obama ran he got Warren Buffet's blessing and libs wouldn't shut up about him

     @mook I don't know enough about him either, but as a value investor he's better than the wallstreetbets bros who just want to make a quick buck in disregard of the company they are investigating in, its employees and other shareholders. in this perspective Buffett is more ethical.

     @kaia@brotka.st well 'ethical' idk that depends on how you look at it, like he gets credit for 'predicting the housing market crash' in 2008 while previously making a lot of money in that bubble, but sure he gives grounded investment advice compared to others, he can afford to. Compare him to someone like Jim Cramer who is comically wrong, irresponsibly bullish much of the time.
