   Inspired by a question from @BruceMirken, I have an idea for getting Mastodon for Harris in front of the Harris for President campaign so as to make the case for the campaign to get on Mastodon. If you follow any journalists on here, please tell them about Mastodon for Harris. If we can get press coverage, that would be a huge help.

     In fact, if you know any journalist, on Mastodon or off who might be interested in a story about Mastodon for Harris, dm me and I will give you my proton email address to share with them.
     Angles to such a story would include: a non-billionaire controlled social media platform being used to raise money for Harris; the opportunity a politician or elected official has to control their social media presence from their own instance.

     @heidilifeldman @BruceMirken Need to make the point that Musk is all in for Trump and Democrats are crazy to make X the center of their campaign. They should be breaking news on other platforms, maybe follow up with a post to X a day later, and only the fediverse will give them a platform that isn't controlled by an opponent (Zuckerberg should also be seen as an opponent, likewise the bros running BlueSky, though Musk is the worst).
