     the annoying part isn't that I somehow nuked the instances. I could set them up from scratch easily enough. it's more that as far as I'm aware I can now no longer do this using the same domain. which is a lot more unfortunate because I really liked it.

     also no don't worry this situation is impossible for the cave. these were personal instances for which my backup strategy wasn't as robust as the one for the cave.
