Conversation

Thanks to visiting family, my partner and I got to go for an overnight backpacking trip (the first time we've left the farm together for >12 hrs in the last ~4 yrs).

It was muggy, and the trail was rough, and there were more mosquitoes than I've ever experienced in my life.

But it was AWESOME. Gosh I forgot how much I love backpacking!! Because the trail was bad, we saw 0 people (and 2 bears!), got to camp in a beautiful, deserted backcountry campground, and swim in a lake with a loon family
