     @GossiTheDog all that stuff that doesn't even remotely need a Windows installation to do it's job running most likely fully licensed Windows installations and endpoint protection is wild.

     CrowdStrike issue is still ongoing, I know plenty of orgs less than a third through remediation. My GP just texted me say they’re back up and running now 🥳

     @GossiTheDog It's simply up to hands-on-deck. If the IT department (or more likely the IT service management company you offloaded to) has enough people with remote access, it was fixed on the weekend. If there's only a tiny underpaid crew and they have to actually go to the physical boxes, you're in major trouble.

     @GossiTheDog Sure. Pointless but known. A ATM,HMI or POS has logic, Nothing for Windows, but logic.
     A display is stupid thing to Display a some data. You can build it, with some memory and a ESP32.
