1. The Choice is Clear: Donald Trump wants to give even more tax breaks to big corporations and the rich while repealing the Affordable Care Act and stripping healthcare from 40 million Americans. MAGA Republicans have a radical plan to ban abortion, limit civil rights, and cut Social Security and Medicare, and they defend Trump’s assault on the Constitution. Democrats are pursuing a very different plan: strengthening and expanding the middle class while defending freedom and democracy. Under the leadership of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, Democrats ended the Trump Recession and Trump Crime Wave. Today, our economy is the strongest in the world, with 15.7 million jobs added under Biden-Harris and wages rising faster than inflation. After Trump’s failed insurrection in 2021, Democrats jumpstarted the economy by delivering $1,400 relief checks, reopening schools, and expanding affordable health coverage. Democrats then passed historic, job-creating investments in infrastructure and manufacturing, and their Inflation Reduction Act is bringing down Medicare drug prices, reducing dependence on foreign oil, and fighting climate change. Next up: restoring Roe v. Wade and passing a billionaires tax to fund tax relief for ordinary folks.
