   @davidallengreen While I'm aware that the Democrats' ability to mess up the politics is legendary, it's entirely possible that the Trump campaign has just succeeded in getting a black woman elected president in place of a white man. Which will be a very good thing, but also enormously funny.

     Democrats are still before their Convention. With decent lawyering and deft formal choreography there is nothing the Republicans can do to stop a new nominee.
