   Trump says he "took a bullet for democracy" but I'm still not convinced that the 2 cm long wound on his ear was from a bullet vs. flying glass shards.

   It seems plausible that there's a reason he's keeping it covered besides just hygiene.

     Snopes says the broken glass theory is wrong.

     So I would guess the wound is even smaller than the reported 2cm.
