Jackuu (jackuu@beefyboys.win)'s status on Monday, 07-Nov-2022 04:49:32 JST Jackuu Have you considered that your profession and ideology are repugnant to the people on this platform and that they respond to it in a natural and organic fashion?
Ahahaha, what am I saying, of course you haven't.
There are no spammers or trolls here. The anger and hatred and vitriol you're receiving is organic, genuine, and extremely well deserved.
For your own sake, fork over $8 and go back to Twitter. There is no future for you on this platform even if you manage to block and ban everyone who is telling you to drink bleach.- arcanicanis likes this.

Brian C. Keegan (bkeegan@hci.social)'s status on Monday, 07-Nov-2022 04:49:35 JST Brian C. Keegan @adamdavidson The biggest usability and governance challenge Mastodon will face over the coming weeks will be spammers and trolls infesting the big instances faster than volunteer mods can take them down.
Which will cause other instances to start to block infested instances. And then new users who defaulted to the big but infested instances will have the headache of migrating to and starting over on a new instance.
Admins just need to be proactive and pro social with ban-hammer.

Adam Davidson (adamdavidson@journa.host)'s status on Monday, 07-Nov-2022 04:49:36 JST Adam Davidson At first, I thought there was going to be a big journalist/ethical question about whether or not to ban entire servers.
Until we got attacked by trolls and I learned just how many servers are 100% troll-army. So, blocked every one I could find.
It’s like I got the Elon Musk crash course in moderation in a few quick hours.
