@feditips Thank you for this! I'm a newbie. Do you know why I can log into the desktop version and not the app? It's making me choose a server to login to on the app but I don't see any familiar ones I originally signed up with. If I choose a random one it says my login failed.

@feditips I'm a newbie. I replied to someone's post, but don't know how to see my reply & don't even know if she saw it!
I also don't know how to see others' replies to the posts I read on my home screen - including yours.
I tried googling for answers but just get directed to tip sheets none of which explain "replying to posts."

@feditips One thing you might add that I have found helpful: if you are searching for someone you follow on that other network that you think has moved here, searching Accounts for their ID on that other network often will find them. And using Boost will help groups of friends who have moved to find each other.

@feditips most people don't want an app they can use after reading a bunch of fans. They want an app they can just use.

@feditips if you want people to join, answer the which server question in one short sentence, and then provide a separate writeup to refer people to for details.

@feditips I’ve been trying to load photos with a post. I was able to load one photo few days back, yet now I can’t. After I load the photo the publish button goes dark. I cannot find the solution in your guide. My sincere apologies if I missed it can you give me a pointer? Thank you.

@feditips - After joining, and only on the first day, I could post media/photos. Now they do not upload, and the post stops during the upload and goes nowhere. Ideas?
