   I would venture that the point of asking is not to expect an open and truthful answer, but rather to make the question a persistent topic of press coverage — because “public figure replied X to a question” is a story reporters know how to write

     @jbouie @inthehands Idk if it _is_ worth asking. I mean obviously he does so the question really boils down to does he feel comfortable admitting it out loud or is he just going to stick to obvious dog whistles
