   Very hawkish politicians of Western govts do not reflect the will of their people.
   In June, The Institute for Global Affairs, part of the the Eurasia Group - very hawkish anti-Russia, anti-China think tank - published a survey finding 94% of USAians & 88% of W Europeans want their govts to push for a negotiated settlement to the war in #Ukraine . Only 17 % wanted the war to continue.
   Seems like masto's got a pretty heavy disinfo campaign going.🤔

     This is very easily explained by the fact that most average citizens in the US and EU are not terribly informed about international relations and the stakes of capitulation and so when asked the misleading question:"Would you like the war to end?" They say, "Yeah, sure".

     And then Russian disinformation agents, some of who are - ahem - present on this platform use these false numbers in a disinformation campaign.
