@Itchy trump’s brand of populism is strongly isolationist. He leans into the notion that America has made huge errors when it has invaded militarily in foreign conflicts. One can’t argue w/ that. But then trump goes further, seeking to destroy valuable peace-keeping institutions like NATO. Together w/ his love of RW authoritarian leaders such as Putin, Kim Jung Un, Victor Orban, you can see the dystopian America he wants.
