   I posted a few days ago about what a greedbag assclown Menendez is and how hard it is to actually get *caught* turning a US Senate seat into personal profit, but I forgot to share an article to go with it, so here's a decent one:

   Again, this is the dude that was caught with gold bars and envelopes full of cash in his closet jacket pockets - the sad truth is that if he'd given a damn at all about covering his tracks, he'd have beat this charge like he beat the last one.

     Is the argument then it is actually better not care (cover up) the crimes then to actually hide them?

     If so... what does this say about the level of corruption than yikes it is so bad 👀

     I mean that's not the argument *I'm* making; what I'm saying is that it's so easy for a Senator to accept bribes in all sorts of legal/easy to hide ways you actually have to be a total dipshit to get caught.

     But you are correct about the level of corruption in US politics being readily apparent to anyone paying attention. Including John Stewart, who did a whole segment on it in response to Menendez's trial.

     @Aviva_Gary We're all good; I'm happy to explain and answer good fiath questions. What's getting my goat is people talking to me like Trump muppets do about their feelings, why polls don't matter more than them feeling a way, and claiming that it's all a big conspiracy even though the numbers demonstrate millions of people who are clearly not working for PutinTrumpElites feel opposite to them.

     Questions? I can handle. A cult? Not interested.
