@snacks curse of the rolling distro. that happens a lot with tumbleweed snapshots too because there are often enough changes in any given week that half the system ends up getting rebuilt (and actually producing different binary output)
at least it can do partial updates without breaking shit left and right when you’re just trying to install something, unlike archsnacks likes this. -

@meeper @snacks opensuse may actually be somewhat “worse” because it basically does deep rebuild cycles until the output is stable so in some cases you end up with changes in a single package rippling through the entire distro

@snacks packages need to be built with newer library versions and arch packaging is kinda stupid with it
according to mia I think, opensuse tumbleweed does it much better
