     @TrevorGoodchild @trogdor it is crucial to remember these things because it helps you keep a transactional view on politics ( he's not your guy, he's not going to protect you ), I think paying attention to shifts in the cultural winds is useful for knowing where things are going.
     
     This is why I thought it was interesting to share - Musk seems to have decided he will do the politics game and appears to be doing what things may motivate him rather directly. Many times rich people will just give tens of millions of dollars to foundations and let them "do the stuff"

     @sickburnbro @TrevorGoodchild @trogdor Musk's sudden support of Trump stems from his relationship with Thiel, David Sachs, and Palantir. Once they got on board with Trump, following the decision to select JD Vance as the VP, Musk was all in on Trump.
     
     Israel is going to get their wars and silicon valley is going to get all the street shitters and slant immigrants they can afford once Trump gets elected.

     @FreeinTX @TrevorGoodchild @trogdor I wouldn't say his support is sudden, I'd say the character of his support has changed from passive to active. It seems logical that how Thiel feels would influence Musk some. But Musk has also been relentless attacked by the rabid left, so I'm sure that helps.
     
     What is interesting is that many shitlibs are all for electric cars and I have always wondered if that is what kept him more passive.
     
     I don't see how Israel "getting their wars" flows from any of this though.
