A mutual on here with 6k followers, who I have no interest in squabbling with, posted in defense of total ad blocking:

"Blocking ads and trackers, and preserving one's attention, is self-care."

Every word true, but please remember: blocking the well-behaved ads (no trackers) along with the nasty ones also nails the final nail into the closed coffin of the open web.
