   Fediverse question:
   Are 'likes' and boosts federated between platforms?
   There are a lot of great artists on mastodon.art who I follow from Pixelfed. Do they receive the love when I send it from over there? Also, I'm curious about whether likes on my Pixelfed posts are coming only from Pixelfed instances or are also coming from Mastodon ones (or any other platform for that matter).
   I would love to know!

     @flowti they should see the posts and able to like and boost them. However, "likes" are not federated outside of the instance that the "likes" come from and the OP instance.

     So when you see a like counter on a post that's not from your instance, those likes definitely came from users on your instance.

     Boosts are federated to a point. Blocks and other federation issues effect the count of them though.
