   a reminder they don't need to actually implement massive deportation (very expensive, sad images, bad for the economy). all they need is to create the THREAT of massive deportation, and some selective enforcement.

     the majority of right wingers don't benefit from a country with no immigrants, what they actually want is a country where immigrants are an exploitable underclass with zero rights, under permanent threat of expulsion.
