     @stephstephking A lot of LGBTQ+, disability communities were disrupted by the takeover of the bird site. Even disasters and community events were posted on Twitter before it was destroyed as a way to do that. And who says that people still using Twitter (not me) are somehow not all in on 'resisting'? That's equating Twitter use with acquiescence to fascism.

     @servelan @stephstephking Uh, yeah, Twitter use is now explicitly funding fascism. Staying on the platform is akin to donating a couple bucks to the Trump campaign yourself.

     ...however: recently my “ignore all previous instructions” post was picked up by a large German YouTube channel. Not the viral Mastodon post with 3000 boosts, the 6 like Twitter post (somehow).

     It was one of the few times I “mirrored” my post to Twitter, a platform I haven't been using for years, and was immediately “rewarded” like this.

     I can fully blame everyone for not trying out or actively using Mastodon if they actively use Twitter, but man... I'd just wish more big media organizations, YouTubers, TikTokers whatever would see the value of this.
