I like how The Stars Are Dead Now by Coldword is kind of depressive black metal via Ennio Morricone.

Fun Coldword anecdote that I'm hopefully remembering right. They weren't always as RABM† affiliated as they are these days, but a neo-nazi metal fest got them mixed up with the US hardcore band Cold World and called them out for being unkvlt and untrve (when they very obviously are neither).
Anyway, Jorge took one look at that shit and was "yeah, Coldworld in no way wants any part of your NSBM nonsense, adopted the anti-nazi position he'd been mocked for and went about his day. (I mean, he's also in Galician folk bands, so there's a high percentile chance of A Las Barricadas sentiment to start with.)
†Red/Anarchist Black Metal, for anyone dropping by for the first time
@alphakomet Honestly, we're really lucky to have two such great bands name-adjacent like this, because a recommendation can't go wrong!
@HauntedOwlbear the self titled made my teenage years
