   YouTube creators are up in arms because it turns out Anthropic, Apple & Nvidia have trained their AIs on subtitles from their videos.

   This fundamentally misunderstands how the web works. Crawling the web to build apps is what it’s built on from day one.

     @carnage4life Disagree. Companies used to crawl the web to index it and link back to original sources. AI crawlers crawl the web to learn from original sources so they can create original content that replaces those original sources.
