     @7666@comp.lain.la don't make stupid purchases at all, just take that money and buy actual good shit. i could've bought a cheap ass bump helmet that would've been ass but i got one of the best ones and it actually works for being out at the range for extended periods of time. idk i've like never regretted not buying better gear if I can afford it

     @7666@comp.lain.la i'd just say for that get a plan in place and then you can go as fast or as slow as you want, but it's all on your terms and on your plan idk
     i think there's a natural progression to a lot of hobbies but when you're at your level then that progressive gets a lot more free form

     @shibao servers, furniture, new CPU/mobo/RAM for my main desktop, Costco raid, etc. It adds up fast. I wouldn't call them stupid, just unnecessary
