     I’m sorry but #Mastodon is a fucking MICRO BLOGGING platform. MICRO means small, as in limited characters. If you admin an instance and allow 20,000+ characters per post…JUST STOP IT.

     When you hit 5,000 or more characters you have entered into BLOGGING territory. Run a multi-user BLOG for people that want more characters.
