   heads up @pfefferle just sent a quick ActivityPub plugin bug your way regarding the attachments produced in Actor objects

   seems like it should be a quick fix

   I _think_ this is the only spot in the code - but you would know better!

     @js the thing is, that this is how Mastodon defines the links on their profile pages. So even it is not by the spec, it is needed to implement the feature.

     @js that is a difficult question!

     I would, if Mastodon will support it.

     The plugin users (me included) want to have that feature working properly with Mastodon. So this is not really a question about what is the better/more accurate solution, but what is widely used/adopted.

     @pfefferle ah that's too bad - looks like Mastodon's problematic implementation here has leaked to other servers as well.

     Found an interesting FEP [1] referenced in an existing open Mastodon issue [2] - essentially adding proper objects (Notes) or Links into the actor attachments, but keeping those schema PropertyValue items around for backcompat until everyone upgrades.

     Would you consider implementing this FEP for the WP plugin?

     @pfefferle yea the cool thing about that FEP is that it doesn't require Mastodon support per se, it maintains the old PropertyValue items in the meantime in addition to the valid/better items
