   As a totally unrelated aside:

   I heard they stripped the federal ban on abortion out of the RNC platform and the Pro Lifers were BIG fucking mad about it.

   (I'm pretty sure the only reason Trump did so was so he can say "you're lying" when Biden says "he wants a national ban on abortion" but Pro Lifers and the God Squad ain't exactly great on subtext.)

     Possibly even worse- they stripped out the abortion language, and re-emphasised 14 about 10 times.

     So the very, very clear goal is to make fetal personhood a thing, and have the 14th apply to it. This would kneecap abortion, IVF, and similar.

     They're going for the worse play.
