Last night at dinner something made me upset. I've been working on emotion regulation this past year. About damn time. Hubs watched as I worked it out in my head, & I was able to turn it around. Then, I smiled at him, he smiled at me, & it was all good. Past Annie would've let her emotions ruin the entire dinner. Reflected on it this a.m.--- Regulating your emotions isn't denying them. It's just tempering them to fit what's an appropriate level for the situation & what serves you best. #Thoughts
