Project 2025 has been gaining media attention lately, and rightly so. With celebrities and politicians alike raising the alarm about this terrifying MAGA-made plan for a second Trump term, it's important to understand just what it would mean if it were implemented. Writer Jay Kuo breaks down the 900-page document into its key subject areas so you don't have to. https://thinkbigpicture.substack.com/p/project-2025-heritage-foundation-trump
On FB, they’re tagging all Project 2025 posts as mostly false. No doubt they’re taking a literal view of what’s in it. So if I say, “the project wants to destroy public education by funding private schools”, FB would call that false because nowhere does it say that.
But their document says, “ All families should be able to take their children’s tax-payer funded education dollars to the education provider of their choosing…”. That right there makes the public school system unsupportable. In the same way that everyone over 65 has to join Medicare to make it economically feasible; public funds must go to public schools to make them feasible. Sending everyone to private schools is NEVER going to happen for middle and lower class working people. So the only winners are the upper 10% who could afford private schools without public funds.
