   yeah dog, it's like everyone knows. VR *seems* like a cool idea, but actually it just sucks.
   
   They've had 3d movies since like the 50s but they don't catch on because the "thing on your face that screws with your vision" isn't a thing most people like.

     @HWABAG for sure, but my broader point is that the best selling point VR had was "screen as far as you can see" but now with 10 mile LCD for $100, that's not really a selling point, because after "I want a lot of display" quickly following "immersive experience" is "ability to easily de-immerse"

     @HWABAG indeed. But even Meta has blown though like what a billion dollars? and they even bought occulus and .. come up with .. 3d nintendo wii facebook that everyone passed on.
