   another camera-related thing bothering me about the Mi 10T Pro is this

   the front camera is a tiny screen cutout in the top left

   so it's in the way of the notification bar

   why???????????????

     they really did take a super nice IPS panel, cut the edges off, and punch a hole in it

     for no reason

     i don't even *want* a front camera (and apparently the front camera on the 10T Pro isn't even good)

     but like. why not put it in the *middle*? then it's only interruptive sometimes

     @unascribed@sleeping.town the hot glass should be poured onto a flat surface and the display should be made around whatever shape the glass puddle hardens into

     @thatonecalculator that only happens if you are moving the pouring source around, which you never specified

     a viscous liquid poured on a flat surface from a fixed position will make an ellipsoid
