In a 180° turn from last week, Apple is no longer going to join OpenAI board and Microsoft has left the board as well.

This is in response to regulators in the EU and US investigating these relationships as a form of antitrust violation.

OpenAI will instead host regular meetings with partners such as Microsoft and Apple and investors Thrive Capital and Khosla Ventures.

Since they had non-voting board seats this is effectively the same thing. Your move regulators. 😇
