   Lord almighty, just got in my car that’s been sitting out in the open at the hospital’s parking lot all day and—118 here—I can’t touch anything yet because it all feels like touching the stove.

     This Sentra’s air conditioner is not up to the task in 113 degrees with a constantly west-facing window. Apologies in advance to anyone who encounters my schvitzed self once this ride is over.

     My favorite thing about prayer is that if something goes your way, God did something good for you he wouldn’t have maybe otherwise done. And if something doesn’t go your way, he’s not doing something good for you because reasons but you don’t know what they are. Amazing system!

     Driver kinda terrifying me because he keeps his phone in a cupholder down by the gearshift and keeps looking down for extended periods of time to see where he’s supposed to be going.

     Will accept thoughts and prayers even if they’re useless.

     Just got in the back of Uber Nissan Sentra that looks and feels HUGE compared to the original Sentras I remember because a high school friend had one.

     40 years later, kinda like it packed on the middle age pounds.
