Is there a small/alt/indie media newswire service actively operating today?

I know there aren't many community media organizations doing the thing the way I'm doing the thing right now, so it's possible that no one is doing an independent national video newswire, but it's my hope that one or two exist.
Otherwise, I'll have to make one for the next wave of folks to use.

The FBI considered left wing print media to be such a huge threat that they ran multiple competing propaganda papers, fake newswires, etc. They sent plants to every alt media event. They poured a massive amount of federal resources in to destroying community media, and they largely succeeded.

I've been led to believe that similar organizations exist today mostly for podcasts and radio programs.

In the 1970s, underground newspapers were possibly more plentiful than anyone might suspect today. Every major city and lots of not so major cities had mimeographed or spirit duplicated local papers running local stories and national reprints.
They fell apart through a combination of natural internal dissent and active interfence from the fbi as part of the coinprotel program.
The underground press syndicate and liberation news service were the big ones, and a great place to start researching if this is something you care about.
