Everyone's pretty excited about Affinity Suite kicking Adobe when they're down and I get it, it's a well, WELL deserved kick. In fact, it's a fraction of what they're owed

BUT

I would just like to urge some caution when throwing yourself into the waiting arms and walled gardens of the next regular for profit company

This IS good and all but if Affinity ever become as dominant as Adobe they WILL enshittify and screw you over just as much, if not more

This behaviour isn't exclusive to Adobe
