     interesting story that one:
     
     Alexander zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn declared in 2017 that Doris von Sayn-Wittgenstein was "not part of the family".[18] He pointed out that in 1979 his distant relative Elisabeth Gertrud (* 1927)[19], daughter of Alexander Prince von Sayn-Wittgenstein (1876-1947), had married a marriage fraudster through the title dealer Hans-Hermann Weyer, who then took his wife's name and then ran away. According to the Saarbrücker Zeitung, this was Bruno Lothar Koch,[20] who made a business out of reselling the name by means of adoptions. For this reason and as a result of "chain adoptions", i.e. through adoptions by people who had previously adopted themselves or by people who had been married to adoptees or by passing the name on to their children, the name was subsequently passed on in the form "Fürst/in von" to more than 50 bearers of the name to date.
