Mittlerweile gibt es noch ein Paper, diesmal aus Yale, was sich wissenschaftlich mit dem #CassReview auseinander setzt.
Die Tragik an solchen Arbeiten wie dem von #Cass ist es, dass bereits öffentlich politische Schlussfolgerungen daraus gezogen werden, bevor überhaupt die ersten Personen die sich mit dem Thema & wissenschaftlicher Methotik auskennen, in der Lage waren das CassReview überhaupt zu lesen.

Ich hatte vor kurzem bereits schon mal über einen Report geschrieben, der deutlich macht welche Auswirkungen die massiv eingeschränkte trans Healthcare in UK hat - etwas worüber Cass in ihrem Review, obwohl ihr die informationen dazu vorlagen, hartnäckig geschwiegen hat.

Die scheidende Regierung von /UK hat etwa eine Notverordung erlassen, die das Verschreiben von Pubertätsblockern für drei 3 Monate für alle trans Minderjährigen, die noch keine Pubertätsblocker bekommen innerhalb des NHS, sowieo für alle Minderjährigen trans Personen ausserhalb des NHS die Verschreibung von Pubertätsblockern generell verboten. Für Kinder die nicht trans sind weiterhin erlaubt. Folgen wurden überhaupt nicht bedacht.

Wissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit so einem Paper dauert Zeit. Bis es so weit ist, dass die ersten Forscher ihre detaillierte Kritik veröffentlichen hat man die Schlussfolgerungen daraus schon umgesetzt und nur noch wenige interessieren noch dafür wie das was in dem Review steht überhaupt zu bewerten ist.
