   According to the weather app it’s supposed to be 117 in about an hour and half.
   I think they’re pumping the numbers for the narrative though.
   They pretty regularly forecast high and adjust down as the actual numbers become evident to anyone with a thermometer.

     Not to be pissing match, but we get direct sun too.

     I can tolerate 110+ with lower humidity.

     US Midwest likes to dismiss us. They can't handle a serious New England heatwave.

     80+ gets no sympathy.

     Throughout summer 90+ with 90+ humidity is the casual norm.

     At least we have low humidity here but the direct sun feels like a furnace and anything metal you leave in it gets too hot to touch in just a few minutes.

     I used to drive all day in an 80’s Toyota truck with no ac and a only a drivers side window in the LA area…including out in the dessert.
     I kept a cooler full of ice water that I’d soak a hand towel in and wrap around my neck.

     @obihahn Try driving in the Arizona desert 80°F+ sitting on top of a 7.3 Ford diesel cooking your nuts, with no AC, and only a driver's side window! I was about to drive nude. :lol:

     Had to drive to my brother's today to drop something off for him. It's an hour and 15 minute drive, and it's 80+ degrees outside. That's a tough drive with no A/C in the car.😡
