   Well I believe in worker's rights because there's way to many exploitative bosses that just view their employees as replaceable cogs in a machine and also skirting safety regulations to save a buck. Like fuckin Caterpillar.. big industry down where one of my brothers lives and he got out from there because of the union not doing it's job and cowtowing more towards the head muckitymucks and in that time, 3 people have fuckin died horribly. And yeah some unions are completely fuckin useless and are just in it for the money. I think what's needed, is like a national labor bureau that oversees the relationship between the workers and management, because you do need both for business to thrive, but both ends need to compromise for the good of the economy and nation.

     @HeliRides3000 @lpheathen2 Where do "workers' rights" end and where does actually having accountability begin? Nobody's rights are being violated by being told to do their job, but every time a union guy doesn't feel like working there's always some excuse. And it's always the loser scumbags that should be digging ditches that lean on the union the hardest, and decent people (who earn the same amount for doing ten times the work) just end up leaving. Handing that relationship over to the government is a terrible idea. I submit as evidence the last hundred and fifty years of government incompetence and misery-causing.

     @HeliRides3000 @lpheathen2 Social security is totally unsustainable and never was. The sooner it's eliminated, the better. "No worker rights" sounds like moving towards at-will employment. Working in a heavily unionized industry, I can say first hand: fuck unions.
