The fact that this wasn't obvious to literally everyone years ago is very telling about what a stranglehold those in power have over public opinion. Leftists have been pointing out that he's been weirdly sheltered from interviews since he STARTED IN OFFICE. Almost no news media have even breathed a mention of it until now. That's wild to me.
Only after an absurdly ill-advised push for a debate made it obvious to everyone (with zero room for ambiguity or excuses) what was going on have Dems given in and admitted that they may have seriously fucked this up.
I don't even believe in electoralism but COME ON, y'all. All of you blue maga types should be PISSED with them for waiting this long to admit they had a real problem on their hands. You ought to be furious that they are risking the election that they keep insisting is the most important one of our lifetime.
After all that fearmongering and vote shaming that they've been trafficking in, it's made insultingly apparent for all to see that they are going to fuck it all up because they are propping up a stubborn old man who doesn't want to let go of the power he's been chasing his entire life.
